ABOUT
Located in Tilal Al Ghaf’s Harmony community, Maison Terra is a four-bedroom family home designed for an American family with Indian heritage, bringing together warmth, cultural identity, and sculptural form.
Three architectural extensions reshaped the way the home functions; one downstairs introduced an additional living space, while two upstairs created dedicated home offices, allowing the family to balance professional life and home within a clearer architectural framework.

At the centre of the layout, a structural column became a defining design feature. Reworked into a curved architectural element, it anchors the relationship between the living and dining areas and establishes a stronger sense of flow across the ground floor.
Warm terracotta, plum, blush, ochre, wood, stone, and plaster shape the home’s material language, while Vastu principles informed the planning to support both functionality and alignment within the space.
Bespoke joinery, custom artworks, and sculptural furniture by DOT Objects reinforce the home’s identity and architectural language.
Maison Terra reflects D’Ora Tokai Designs’ approach to restorative residential design; creating environments that strengthen quality of life, celebrate individuality, and support the rhythms of modern living through beauty, structure, and warmth.
